Offers for schools

Every year, YOUCA develops inspiring educational materials to immerse your students in the annual theme and prepare them optimally for the YOUCA Action Day. In recent years, we have created a multifaceted offer that immerses pupils in social themes. With a variety of topics and methodologies, we respond to the needs of different schools and offer practical tools for discussing social issues in the classroom in an engaging and accessible way.

YOUCA Action Day info material

The YOUCA Action Day is not one day, but a period in which pupils learn about the year's theme and project, get to know YOUCA and strengthen their application skills. In the weeks leading up to their day, you can bring YOUCA all the way to life at your school and in the community. Find out all about organising the YOUCA Action Day and some useful tools to inform your pupils and colleagues here.

A job-for-a-day search is a learning experience for your students. They will explore their interests and talents, discover how an application process works and look for employers in their area. To help your students as much as possible on their way with their search, we offer a lot of educational material and tools.

Year 2025: Youth activists defend the Peruvian Amazon

The Amazon, the world's largest rainforest, covers more than half of all the rainforest on our planet. As such, it plays a crucial role in storing CO₂, producing oxygen and regulating the global climate. This is why the forest is also called 'the lungs of the earth'. The Amazon is indispensable for humans and the planet. But due to forest fires and human activities such as illegal logging, mining and large-scale agriculture, the rainforest is disappearing at an alarming rate. The oil industry and gold mines are causing severe pollution to the rivers, including the lifeline of the area: the Amazon River. This devastation is a threat to nature, the climate and the people who live there.

Educational game

YOUCA developed Dream Hunters, an educational game that makes young people (15-25 years old) aware of global injustice and invites them to discuss it. The game lets participants discover what dreams young people worldwide cherish in their search for happiness and shows the obstacles they face in doing so. Dream Hunters is based on the valuable experiences YOUCA youth have gained over the years. The game is flexible and can be played both in a school context and during leisure activities.
