WHAT YOUCA DOES
At YOUCA, we believe in the power of young people to contribute to a sustainable and just world. Through connection, collaboration and experience, we introduce young people to impactful experiences in an accessible and challenging way that equip them with the necessary confidence and tools in their commitment to a better world. We do this through various activities, workshops, actions, projects and collaborations with partners who, like us, strive for positive change.
YOUCA Action Day
Hold on to the branches of the trees, because on Thursday 15 October 2026 it is YOUCA Action Day again! Every year, more than 15,000 young people from Flanders and Brussels commit to spending a day working for a company, organisation, government or private individual. The wages they earn on that school day go to projects of committed young people worldwide. Will you be there too?
Annual theme 2026: For no money in the world
Under the slogan 'For no money in the world', YOUCA is joining forces with SomosTerra (Spain), Cordilleran Youth Centre (Philippines) and YOUCA Brasil (Brazil) in 2026 for a just economy. Today, we live in an economic system that builds on exploitation and environmental damage. We will look for alternative ways to live, produce and consume together justly without constantly crossing human and planetary boundaries . Will you also join this movement?
