About us
YOUCA – Youth for Change and Action – is a youth movement dedicated to creating a fair and sustainable future. But young people cannot achieve this on their own. That is why we at YOUCA are keen to join forces with schools, businesses, pioneers and other relevant social actors to work together to make that shared dream for the future a reality.

Our mission
As a youth movement, YOUCA’s mission is to create spaces for and by young people worldwide – through connection, collaboration and experience – where they can develop to their full potential and take action .
Why?
At YOUCA, we believe that we, the young people, are the key to a better future. We are not (yet) constrained by entrenched ways of thinking that can hold back progress and change. With our fresh and creative ideas, we take a new look at the problems of today and tomorrow. We often see things differently, and that is precisely where the power of change lies.
We look at the world with an open mind , which enables us to break through the status quo. Where others see obstacles , we see opportunities. We dare to dream of a better world, and we know we can make those dreams a reality. Together.
And no, we don’t want to wait an eternity for change. With respect for people and the planet, we want to make a difference right now. Whether it’s about sustainability, equality or social justice, we recognise the urgent need and are determined to take action today. Because at YOUCA, we realise that every conscious choice and every small action can already have a huge impact. Here at YOUCA, we give and receive the opportunity to make our voices heard and to learn that our opinions really do matter.

We think and act now with the future in mind. In this way, we ensure a sustainable impact without depleting the world and its inhabitants. Together, we are building a world we can be proud of, for ourselves and for all future generations.

Everyone is equal; everyone is respected
A fair society is one where you feel safe and can make your voice heard.
By taking a critical look at ourselves and the world around us, we do everything we can to
promote justice for everyone. Here, everyone counts and everyone is
heard.
3. CONNECTION
A warm community
With open ears, a warm heart and an open mind, we listen attentively to diverse
views and engage actively in dialogue. In this way, we grow together, learn from one another and
take time to celebrate and mourn.
4. PARTICIPATION
For and by young people
Based on shared responsibility, you help shape the organisation’s direction. And
you’ll have plenty of opportunities to make your voice heard. Surrounded by a warm group of people who
listen to you, understand you and support you, you’ll experience how fun and responsibility go hand in hand
.

Daring, learning and growing together
Courage means daring to be yourself, speaking your mind and staying true to who you are, even
when the pressure to conform is high. At YOUCA, you’re free to learn, try, fail, and
try again. Only in this way do we grow in our shared strength and stay on course towards
a better world.
