WHAT YOUCA DOES
At YOUCA, we believe in the power of young people to contribute to a sustainable and just world. Through connection, collaboration and experience, we introduce young people to impactful experiences in an accessible and challenging way that equip them with the necessary confidence and tools in their commitment to a better world. We do this through various activities, workshops, actions, projects and collaborations with partners who, like us, strive for positive change.
YOUCA Action Day
Hold on to the branches of the trees, because on Thursday 16 October 2025 it is YOUCA Action Day again! Every year, more than 15,000 young people from Flanders and Brussels commit to spending a day working for a company, organisation, government or private individual. The wages they earn on that school day go to projects of committed young people worldwide. Will you be there too?
Year 2025: youth activists defend the Peruvian Amazon
In 2025, YOUCA joins hands with Amnesty International and the youth of MANTHOC for youth rights and the protection of the Amazon in Peru. The Amazon is the world's largest rainforest and is indispensable for people and the planet. But due to forest fires and human activities such as illegal logging, mining and large-scale agriculture, the rainforest is disappearing at an alarming rate. This destruction is a threat to nature, the climate and the people who live there. To stop this, we are taking action! Will you join us in this powerful commitment?

YOUCA is a youth movement dedicated to creating a just and sustainable future. But young people cannot do this alone. That is why at YOUCA we like to enter into exciting collaborations with schools, businesses, pioneers and other relevant social actors to make that shared dream of the future come true together.
