Against compulsory army recruitment

In 2008, the YOUCA project in collaboration with Colombian Collective Action of Conscientious Objectors(ACOOC)revolved around the theme "against the compulsory recruitment of children and youth into the Colombian armies." The specific project involved developing social, economic, political and legal alternatives to the recruitment of young people by various armed groups in Colombia. The aim was to contribute to finding solutions that would protect the country's youth from forced recruitment and give them more opportunities in the social, economic and political spheres.
