YOUCA Action Day for employers

15 October 2026 is YOUCA Action Day. 15,000 young people, from the fourth to the seventh year of secondary school, are committed to spending a day working at a company, organisation, government department or private individual’s home. They will donate their wages – 70 euros – to projects run by committed young people worldwide. Will you offer a job to support all this youth engagement?

How can I take part?

Would you like to host a student during the YOUCA Action Day? Great! We’d be happy to help you get started before, during and after the YOUCA Action Day. YOUCA offers you support and tools to ensure everything runs smoothly, and you’ll have a dedicated contact person you can turn to with any questions. Anyone can get involved in the YOUCA Action Day, but if you’re still not quite sure how you can make a difference, read on!

What can the YOUCA Action Day offer you?

Support committed young people worldwide
By offering a job, you give committed young people in Belgium the chance to put their commitment into action. What’s more, you’ll be supporting projects run by young people striving to make the world a better place in every corner of the globe.

Young talent on the premises
Want to introduce your company or a new product to the employees and consumers of the future? It’s very easy to do so at YOUCA Action Day. As a social enterprise or public sector organisation, you can raise your profile amongst young citizens and potential volunteers.

PR and media coverage
Every year, YOUCA Action Day attracts a great deal of media attention from national and regional press. Make the most of it and seize that attention! Who knows, you might just find yourself in the spotlight!

Turn your sustainability policy into ACTION
Show the outside world and your staff that you take corporate social responsibility very seriously and put it into practice.

Prevention and safety

Every year, thousands of pupils swap their school desks for a day in the workplace as part of YOUCA Action Day. To ensure that both the young people and the employers look back on the day with a sense of satisfaction, it is essential to create a safe and supportive working environment.

If you’re unable to offer a work placement yourself, or if you’d like to give even more young people the chance to get involved during YOUCA Action Day, why not sponsor a job with the environmental organisation Natuurpunt? This non-profit organisation can really use all the help it can get and offers young people an inspiring and educational day.

Through your sponsorship, you’ll not only create extra work placements, but you’ll also be supporting impactful youth projects worldwide. Just like the proceeds from the jobs at your workplace, the contribution from the sponsored jobs at Natuurpunt will go towards the youth projects we support this year.

Sponsoring is simple: register as an employer in the job bank and add a job at Natuurpunt to your basket with a single click.
