Board and general assembly
YOUCA is an organisation for and by young people - and we take that really seriously. Young people are at the helm! We aim for at least 70% representation of 25 or younger on our governing bodies. There are two official bodies where you can make a commitment.
General meeting
The General Assembly (GA) is the highest body. The GA meets twice a year to take a helicopter view of YOUCA: the YOUCA Action Day campaign, the financial picture, the annual report, the election of the GA and the Board... In November, the GA even meets for 24 hours, with workshops and loads of fun.

Board
The Board is elected by the General Assembly. They meet 10 times a year and determine the strategy together. The Board takes all important decisions, such as major financial investments, advice to the coordinator, representation of YOUCA to the outside world, etc.
